How listings get built

Each firm’s profile is assembled from public business records (things like licensing status, address, years operating) combined with a synthesis of recent Google reviews. We don’t republish review text wholesale. Instead we read the pattern of recent feedback and summarize what it actually says about responsiveness, outcomes, and client communication, then link out to the firm’s Google listing so you can read the original reviews yourself.

Data gets refreshed on a monthly cycle, so a firm’s profile shouldn’t drift far from reality even as new reviews come in or a practice changes hands.

How rankings work

Rankings come from a published rubric applied to the data we collect, nothing else. You can read the full breakdown on the methodology page. No firm can pay to move up the list, and no firm can talk its way into a higher score.

That said, a listed firm can flag factual errors on its own profile: wrong phone number, outdated address, incorrect practice areas. What a firm cannot do is edit its own score, sentiment summary, or ranking position. Those stay tied to the rubric and the underlying data, full stop.

Sponsorship, when it appears

Some pages may include a sponsored placement. It’s always labeled “Sponsored,” displayed in a separate section from the earned ranking, and never blended into the ranked list itself. Paying for a sponsored slot has no effect on where a firm lands in the actual rankings.
